The Bank of Israel Foreign Exchange Reserves, April 2005

The foreign exchange reserves at the end of April 2005 stood at $ 26,484 million, a decline of some $ 220 million from their level at the end of March 2005. The decrease was due mainly to government withdrawals from its accounts with the Bank of Israel to finance its activity abroad, and was partially offset by the Bank's income from the investment of the reserves.
