The Bank of Israel Foreign Exchange Reserves, January 2007
 
The foreign exchange reserves at the end of January 2007 stood at $ 28,436 million, a drop of $ 592 million from their level at the end of December 2006. The fall was due mainly to government withdrawals to finance its activities abroad and to private sector transfers abroad.
