The Bank of Israel Foreign Exchange Reserves, February 2007
 
The foreign exchange reserves at the end of February 2007 stood at $ 30,781 million, a rise of $ 2,347 million from their level at the end of January 2007. The rise is a temporary one, deriving from an increase in dollar deposits at the Bank of Israel by the private sector; these deposits serve as collateral for monetary loans.
