The Bank of Israel Foreign Exchange Reserves, January 2008
 
Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of January 2008 stood at $ 28,537 million, a rise of $ 104 million from their level at the end of December 2007. This rise derived mainly from Bank of Israel income from investment of the reserves, partially offset by government withdrawals to finance its activities abroad.
