The Bank of Israel Foreign Exchange Reserves , June 2009
 
Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of May 2009 stood at $49,985 million, an increase of $2,435 million from their level at the end of May.
The increase in June derived from:
  Bank of Israel purchases of $1,950 million on the market, as part of its planned increase in the foreign exchange reserves;
  a revaluation of the reserves plus income, totaling $404 million;
  government transfers from abroad of $53 million;
  an increase due to the private sector, totaling $28 million.
