As the Bank of Israel announced on February 8, 2023, the Governor of the Bank of Israel has decided to establish a search committee for candidates for the position of Supervisor of Banks, before the current Supervisor steps down in June of this year.
The Committee will be led by Deputy Governor Andrew Abir. Its members will include Bank of Israel Legal Counsel Adv. Tida Shamir; Roni Tzidkiyahu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Negev Industrial Minerals; and Adv. Michal Halprin, Senior Research Associate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Attached is a public call for candidates for the position. Candidacies may be submitted until March 15, 2023.
