The Bank of Israel is working to promote financial information and to increase public information on its policies and activities for all parts of the public, and to increase transparency and access to information. The Bank of Israel operates a visitors center where you can learn about the Bank of Israel, its objectives, its functions, and its values, as well as its status as an independent state entity. The center presents the development of money and means of payment from ancient times to the digital era, and serves as a place to learn about Israel's unique currency system.
